If you’ve never been to see a therapist, then this is roughly how it works.
What happens is you come along, we meet, you sit down and you start to tell me you’re story. And you can tell me as much or as little as you like.
Overtime, which can be just one or two sessions, or many more depending, we both attempt to understand what is going on. From this creating of a better awareness, new ideas or new ways of seeing yourself and the world can come about.
Not to be cliche, but every therapy is a journey, and often not a pleasant one. But usually very worth it.
